Lacrifill is a hyaluronic acid-based gel used to treat dry eye disease. It is an FDA-cleared, minimally invasive treatment that aims to enhance tear retention by temporarily blocking tear drainage. The gel is injected into the lacrimal canaliculus, the small tear drainage channel in the eyelid, to help the eye retain its natural tears
