Dr. Adkins specializes in a wide range of eye care services, from glaucoma management to specialized treatments using amniotic membranes and contact lenses.

Dr. Adkins attended the University of Missouri where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature. She completed a Doctorate of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, College of Optometry, and underwent a clinical residency at Northeastern State University College of Optometry and WW Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Dr. Adkins is not only dedicated to enhancing eye health but also to giving back to the community. She served as Past President and a committed volunteer at COVERSA, a Kansas City not-for-profit organization focused on compassionate post-sexual assault patient care. Dr. Adkins also extended her impact globally by participating in a medical mission with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
